Graffiti around the world

The graffities in colombia, Egypt and north Africa have the same purpose. Say the things that the media don't want to say or simply don't want that you know. Graffiti in this nations are an expression based on specific political problems that they have. Also critic the present or past decisions in these country's (education system, violence, politics, elite class, police, censure, etc) or support something.

Then, in colombia, graffities and graffities makers, called "grafiteros" have a strong stereotype. Are related to vandalism, gangs and treated as drug addicts. Colombia don't have freedom expression in street art and its a illegal thing. But when a pop star comes, the police escorts him to do all he wants in our public spaces. Colombia needs more culture a less taboos in a big list of things, and graffities are in the top.

How are Thai gangsters an example of cultural appropriation of another subculture? What do we learn about Thai and Mexican subcultures from this article & video within the article?

Thai gangsters are a big example of appropriation of another subculture. Work for see from other view the appropriation that we can have of other subculture and how "ridiculous" people can look taking foreigners styles. But, in this case the appropriation of other subculture are helpful for this group of people that share the same likes, fell comfortable whit others and can make friends in that way, all of this whiteout make any damage to the society.
People always want to be accepted by others. If the subcultures (whatever they come from) help in this aspect and don't influence in make damage to another person or himself, are acceptable and useful for the society
